Teddy's Birthday

Humans have milestone birthday markers. 18, you are officially an adult. 21, you can legally drink. And, lets not forget 25, when you can rent a car. I don't think Dogs have many milestone birthdays but, if they did it would be the big 0-2. We celebrated Teddy's second birthday not too long ago. Ok, maybe celebrate is an overstatement... we got him these delectable doggie treats and called it a day. Lets be honest though, I think he was pretty satisfied. All the while I was asking myself, how the heck can these be dog treats? They look so amazing!

NASCAR Date

Ever since Drew was little he loved NASCAR. Before we moved to Malibu we organized and  consolidated most the boxes we had in our garage. While cleaning I found a plethora of NASCAR paraphernalia. Specifically number 24, Jeff Gordon. So for Valentines Day we went to the Royal Purple 300 race. I know, Valentines was a super long time ago but I totally forgot about these picture and couldn't resist. We had such a wonderful time. I can't remember the last time I had a turkey leg, but it sure was yummy. Drew was super proud to buy a camouflage NASCAR hat. I must admit he looked pretty fab.

Russian Tea Cake

Cookies are one of my favorite deserts. They are simple, small, and easy to make. The Russian Tea Cake , specifically, is one of my favorites. While these yummy treats are usually made around Christmas time, their light and fluffy texture made for a perfect afternoon snack. Not to mention, they are Drew's favorite cookie. I know these wont't last long in our house. Yum. I am all about fail proof recipes and {this} one is just that.
