I hope all of you had a great weekend. I am so excited for the first signs of fall. Thankfully, it is starting to cool down after a short heat wave we had last week. Hopefully, the cool weather is here to stay. Time for Fall and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
On another note, I made this yummy snack over the weekend that reminded me of a field trip I took in eighth grade. We visited a goat farm that raised baby goats. Once the goats were old enough they were sold to local farmers to make cheese. While visiting the farm we sampled many different types of goat cheese. Since that day I was hooked. One of my favorite appetizers is this goat cheese spread with herbs. I used some of the herbs seen {Here}
Ingredients:
Goat Cheese
Olive Oil
Rosemary
Dill
Basil
Grind herbs and olive oil in a mortar until constancy is somewhat smooth. Mix in the goat cheese and enjoy over crackers or baguette.
